A Legacy of Hospitality Since 1963
Asteria Hotel is more than a place to stay — it’s a part of Zakynthos’ living history. Built in 1963 by Piskopos Labrinos and his wife Zaharenia, it was the first hotel on Alykes Beach, created with nothing but heartfelt hospitality and a deep love for the island. At a time when the village of Alykes was untouched by tourism, our family opened its doors to travelers, offering them a peaceful retreat by the sea.
Over the decades, Asteria has welcomed guests from around the world, many of whom return year after year — not just for the beach or the views, but for the feeling of coming home.
Family-Owned. Heartfelt Hospitality.
Now run by the next generation, Asteria remains a family-owned and operated hotel. We’ve stayed true to the values of our grandparents: simplicity, honesty, and care. Each of our 15 rooms offers comfort without excess, and our team ensures that every guest is treated like family.
From a friendly smile at check-in to a home-cooked meal at our Asteria Taverna, our goal is to make you feel relaxed, cared for, and truly connected to the spirit of Zakynthos.
Over the decades, Asteria has welcomed guests from around the world, many of whom return year after year — not just for the beach or the views, but for the feeling of coming home.
Timeless Setting, Modern Comforts
While much has changed on the island, Asteria remains a calm and authentic corner of Alykes. We’ve preserved the quiet charm of our seaside setting while adding the comforts that make a stay easy and enjoyable — including free Wi-Fi, private parking, air conditioning, and helpful concierge-style services.
Whether you’re here for a romantic escape, a family holiday, or a solo retreat, you’ll find peace, warmth, and tradition in every detail.
